In August we explored Zinfandel as part of the National Tasting. The only consensus was that the descriptions presented had nothing/very little to do with what we tasted. Prior to the meeting a moment of silence was observed for Ham Mowbray with a toast using Seyval Blanc.

Next meeting will be Sept 23, 2 PM, one week later than normal at the Kacsur house, please reserve your place at xxxxxx. Al has spared no expense to find an expert on Rosemont wines. The regional Rosemont distributor will help present Varietal vs. Blend which does your palet prefer?

Planning ahead, on October 21, Pennee Parker will do something with wine, probably red and we will have a house, just don’t know the directions yet.

In Vino Veritas, Walt
