The G. Hamilton Mowbray Memorial Scholarship has been established at the American Wine Society Educational Foundation. A total of $3,000 will need to be donated for a named scholarship. Contributions may be made to AWS Educational Foundation and sent to:

In August we explored Zinfandel as part of the National Tasting. The only consensus was that the descriptions presented had nothing/very little to do with what we tasted. Prior to the meeting a moment of silence was observed for Ham Mowbray with a toast using Seyval Blanc.
