Hello,
This month's tasting at Anna and LeRoy's was certainly
a success, if judged by nothing other than the large turnout. But
there was more to judge it by. There was that charming little bit of
paradise that they've managed to create in their back yard. I know I,
for one, will be dreaming of it on hot summer afternoons&ldots;. and
I wonder if goldfish are good fried? They certainly were big enough
to eat. Then there were the bottles the wine came in. I hope Anna
saved them for the summer's herb vinegar production. Finally, the
wines: A diverse array of wines from Provence, and once again, a very
clear winner - the Bosquet des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Our May tasting will be held at the home of John and Deborah Pardoe. Please call them to RSVP by Wednesday May 15 so that they can plan for an appropriate amount of wine. Nancy Slick will be wine hosting along with John. Their topic " Fruits of Our Labor" has me more that a little curious I must admit.
If anyone is interested in CPR training I may be able to arrange for a class to be given at my home if there is enough interest. The fee would be $35.00 per person.
