Newton 2004 Chardonnay
$25.00 suggested retail
Overshadowed by its big brother Newton unfiltered, Newton Chardonnay
"red label" is a wonderful expression of balance in
Chardonnay. Apple, pear, citrus and melon supported but not
overwhelmed by oak. The palate cleansing acidity in this wine makes
it a perfect complement for cream based sauces, soft cheeses, of just
sipping before dinner. I know many people arent excited about
Chardonnay but this wine is well made from start to finish and a
great example of a better California Chardonnay.

faint of heart, full of black fruit, oak, spice and tannin. If your
